China’s digital transformation in enterprises is progressing in both breadth and depth, particularly driven by novel applications like artificial intelligence and large models. This has led to a surge in demand for data flow utilization and computing services, consequently fueling rapid growth in emerging business markets.
The construction of new infrastructures, including 5G and gigabit networks, is advancing steadily. By the end of July, a total of 3.996 million 5G base stations had been built and activated, indicating a net increase of 619,000 since the end of last year.
